With our company growing and expanding at an impressive pace we began obtaining new hire’s, Rachael Engleking being one of them. Her addition to our team was acknowledged in not only the Triangle Business Journal but in The Business Journal under “People on the Move” and we couldn’t be more excited about her new role in our company. Graduating from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte she received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in Mass Media and Visual Communication. There she worked for a Student Media Group, gaining a lot of the experience she contributes to the success of our company today. With her time spent at the university she was also a student athlete and after graduation continued to coach the Capital Area Soccer League in Raleigh, along with helping the expansion of a successful and locally-owned restaurant in the Raleigh area. But this was not why Rachael was hired for Capital Sign Solutions.
According to Patrick Mills, Founder and President of Capital Sign Solutions, Rachael’s personality and professional drive was what impressed him both. These characteristics of hers were what made her an excellent addition to the team at Capital Sign Solutions. “Many of our customers are owners of young and immerging companies who are looking to us to help them grow their brand presence,” said Mills. “Rachael has extensive experience working with these types of businesses. Her dynamic personality and willingness to always go that extra mile make her an invaluable addition to our team.”
Apart from these characteristics, Rachael claims that the skills and expertise she acquired in restaurant management has prepared her for her new role. She played a major role in the branding and marketing initiatives of the restaurant and also implementing company standards and procedures. Due to her work at this restaurant, it expanded from what used to be one restaurant to five in just three years. “Although my background is mostly in restaurant management, retail, and sales, a lot of my professional experience is working with young, independently-owned companies to implement company standards and procedures,” said Engleking. “I’m looking forward to my prospects at Capital Sign Solutions and to growing the company while maintaining the highest quality of service and product for the client.”
